It used to be that film cameras were considered as cream of the crop. With the advent of a film less camera in the 1970′s, a lot of camera manufacturers then took the plunge to create something more innovative like digital cameras and video cameras. Since then, digital cameras started to take over the world when it comes to cameras. A lot of reputable brands then started to release new digital cameras and video cameras, which are all equipped with lots of features and functions that film cameras contain. Kodak was the first brand to produce the first ever sensor that made use of megapixels, which technically convert light to digital photos. Hence, it is no wonder why
Kodak brand has become a household name until today. On the other hand, comparing both types of cameras, digital cameras are in no doubt more advantageous compared to those film cameras. Firstly, you can be able to view your photos or videos through an LCD display that digital cameras and video cameras typically have. With such option, you will then be able to see if the captured photo is perfect or not and you can immediately do the photo shoot again if needed. Film cameras, on one hand, do not have such feature and that the only way to view the photos is when you have developed the film into hard copies. Digital cameras and video cameras are furnished with numerous features like delete, save, crop, anti-blur and many others to help you have that perfect capture whether you are a beginner or not in photography. With such features not available in film cameras, mediocre in photography are advised to use digital cameras instead of the former. You will also have numerous choices when it comes to digital cameras from color, brands, resolution and many others. With such cool options and features, it is no wonder why film cameras are becoming obsolete nowadays.
